Healthcare is ever changing and getting more and more complex every year.
Navigating the Healthcare system can be challenging, to say the least.  I will hold your hand every step of the way and guide you. 

You can't be expected to know what you don't know when it comes to questions to ask while in the doctor's office or while in the hospital. I am your eyes and ears and voice, always at your side

 

Crisis Intervention

In a crisis situation I can be there to make sure the care you are receiving is the BEST and most up to date evidenced- based- practice care available, being given without error. I make sure everything they should be doing is being done and done correctly.

 

Away

I can help when you aren't available. If your parents/grandparents live away from you and require assistance I can be there when you aren't able to be. Or If life has just become too busy; going with to appointments or making home visits as needed when you can't.

We are your family, when there is no one to call family of your own.

Mediator

I can help be the mediator and liason between you and all of your healthcare providers, family and caregivers to facilitate your care and make sure everyone is "on the same page" regarding your care. Sharing what you want with who you want via state of the art technology or an old fashion letter.

Educator

Nurses at the bedside don't have the time to teach and educate like they used to. They are required to document more and more, which takes them away from the bedside setting, where you are. I can provide the personal services, education and follow up you deserve to create a successful transition from hospital to home.
